For 6th continuing year, Naoussa International Short Film and Video Festival becomes the centre of cinematography attention. For another time unites creators and audience internationally and turns Greece into a culture’s and civilization’s meeting place. The event that reinforces regional development and converts Naoussa into an interchange of digital cinema is here once again!

Naoussa International Short Film and Video Festival appears forcefully to digital technology while it is evolving rapidly. Digital cinema notes a new trend on 7th art. Naoussa Film Festival takes a stand on by hosting among its screened films the section of students’ movies entitled ’’Digital View".
This department works successfully for three years gathering many participations of Greek ambitious students who have the potential to become creators. The department of students’ movies for this year is organized under the aegis of School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and takes place on 7th till 10th of May.

The incorporation of the department of students’ movies in Naoussa International Short Film and Video Festival aims to support all new creators and gives them the chance to present their work and be evaluated. Above all, they are given a precious educational experience which is going to boost their career. Naoussa Film Festival understanding the students anxieties and interests organizes parallel events, such as seminars and workshops. The purpose of these events is to utilize educationally their participation of young creators giving them a chance to know each other better, discuss and meet knowable people of cinema that will advise them, urge them and lead them.

Digital View is another distinguishable feature of Naoussa International Film Festival. Moreover, it reveals that the Festival supports all new creators and in the same time contributes to festival’s effort to evolve into the most significant digital film festival in the region of Southeastern Europe.
