Naoussa International Film Festival appears dynamically at the new digital era of cinema by exploiting the latest digital means and by utilizing innovative actions.
The organizing of the department of youth and student films of South East Europe, called "Digital View South East Europe" constitutes an action addressed to cinema directors of tomorrow. The basic goal of "Digital View" is to support young creators and to provide them with the opportunity to present their work and get evaluated for it.
Simultaneously, the department of youth and student films aims at expanding the educational activity, by incorporating it into a multifarious celebration of cinema. By organizing parallel events with the participation of cinema professionals young creators are offered the chance to contact renowned personalities of the cinema area, who will advise, encourage and lead them.
Moreover the participation in an established, dynamic and flexible Festival allows the participants to communicate with other creators, express their thoughts, watch films of renowned directors and to acquire valuable experiences, that will assist them on building their cinematographic future on solid foundations.
Naoussa International Film Festivals develops to node of wider transeuropean networks of exchanges and collaboration with foreign countries. Based on that approach "Digital View South East Europe" expands and embraces future directors originating from 23 countries of the region of Southeastern Europe.
In collaboration with academic institutions from Greece and abroad the Festival will develop actions aiming at the enforcement of the cinematographic activity and the support of the efforts of young creators, thus proving its special interest for the tomorrow of cinema.
